San Diego Vacation - December 2011 Part 1

Peyton was rocking her new head phones with Mommy's iPod Touch.  She was dancing all over the airport enjoying "Eye of the Tiger."  Her favorite song.  Yes - we are raising a child of the  80s.
First flight - ready to go! The girls traveled really well.  Thanks to Frontier Airlines for their TV on every head rest and the warm cookies.  Only issue was the constant release of the tray table.  I'm sure the folks sitting in front of us weren't excited.

Playing wherever they could.  The girls each had their own suitcases that they carried through the airport with all of their toys and activities.  You can see we also had our mammoth stroller.

Once we finally got the hotel after trading in our Nissan Altima for a Jeep since we couldn't fit all of our things in the Altima!!  The girls were exhausted and went straight from the car to the bed.  It didn't last too long since Bristol was a bit out of sorts and was up in the middle of the night.  We bonded.

Here is the view from our breakfast spot - Einstein bagels.  This was all on the hotel property.

View from our hotel room.  We were on the 14 floor and loved waking up to this.

Sea World was day one.  Here we are waiting for Shamu.  It was pretty awesome.  Thanks to Anheiser Busch for our free tickets.  Their Thanks to the Heroes program allowed us all to get in for free.
We really enjoyed the whale show.  Then the bird show when they attacked and started eating all the popcorn.

Let's hope this isn't a glimpse into our future.  Peyton pretending she's in jail. This was the first photo taken at Knott's Berry Farm with Val.

Here's little Bristol following Big Sis.

Val with the girls.  They loved having her with us and the extra attention.  She was a great tourist and also gave us a wonderful Christmas present - her time and entrance into the park.
Little Sis on the train.

Tapping into their southern charm with the huge bows!!!!!  They were headbands with light up bows.  We got lots of comments.

Cheese while riding a pig.

Yeehaw on our Zebra.

Val and Peyton cuddling on the big train ride.
SO MUCH FUN!  We had a great day with Val.  Thanks again for an awesome family day Val.

My fancy apron!  Can't wait to try it out.

Peyton loving her new apron from Val.  Val hit it on the head and bought us both fancy aprons for our new cooking spree.  When we got home at 8:30 on Christmas Eve and quickly made brownie for Santa, Peyton yelled out after the brownies were in the oven "Mommy - we need to get our aprons!!!!"  We'll be wearing them a lot I'm sure.
