Happy 10-10-10

Pretty cool that today is 10-10-10. It would be awesome to have today at your birthday.

Speaking of birthdays, we also celebrated Rob's 38th birthday on 10-6-10. Peyton called and sang him Happy Birthday. It was pretty cute. We also sent him a gift. I want to make sure we say what it is because when you look back at this blog in years to come you'll think "what an odd gift."

Happy 70th Birthday Mike

SURPRISE!!!!! Mike had no clue we were flying to Disney for his birthday. He walked in the lobby of the hotel and all 5 grandkids went running toward him. He tried to get out of the way because he had no clue. Then he started to recognize them one by one. He was totally shocked to see Bristol and Peyton. Too cute! We had an awesome weekend. Notice Miss Priss with her Minnie purse. She carried that thing all through Disney. She kept saying "my purse!"

Pumpkin Patch Party

School Starts for P

Peyton has officially started preschool and she loves it. She's been sick a few days so our attendance record is not fabulous. And, Papa sometimes doesn't get it all together on the days I'm traveling so it's a good thing it's not real school yet.

The teacher says she's quiet. HA! That's funny. I think she's still adjusting to waking up and having to be somewhere. When you pick her up she's sound asleep about 2 blocks from school. She is excited in the morning to head to school though. It's cute.

Orientation - she wanted to pose with Papa. She did so well her first day. Sat down at the table next to a little girl and said "Hi. My name is Peyton Mahan Douglas." It was so adorable. I hope she always says hi to someone new everyday at school. As my Dad would tell me "make sure to say hi to a nerd every day because it will make their day." It worked. I met my best friend that way.
Here's our first day of school. She had to carry her Vera Bradley purse. So funny! And, she was rockin her "running shoes."
