Dear Fan Club

I love that I have so many readers!!! It's funny how people come out of the wood work when you call them out. I was basically just giving a shout out to the fans who comment.

Ok, so here's the latest:

1. Promised I'd talk about boobs so that will be my first entry. My boobs are huge. I have already purchased another larger bra. Yeah! Like I need my boobs to grow. They are developing by the text book. I won't go into too much detail, but they're there and making their presence!

2. Cravings - definitely not cravings, but specific food choices. Today for lunch I had a grilled chicken wrap and grape slush (large) from Sonic and then hush puppies and cole slaw from Smithfield's BBQ. What a mix. It was very tasty though :)

3. Feeling pretty groggy today. Woke up at 12:30 a.m., 4 a.m., 6 a.m. for my potty breaks. The joy! And, then the babies (dogs) wanted to go out at 7 a.m. I forced them to lay back down after that so we then got up officially around 9 a.m. I laid back down around 11 a.m. to watch TV in bed.

4. Emotionally - watched TV in bed while I cried in bed. Yup = watched a show on sextuplets and quints. Holy Crap! Makes you rethink how easy it is to raise just one kid (remind me I said that when I'm complaining about raising my ONE child.) It was pretty interesting though.

Well, that's the update for now. I am anxiously awaiting my Dad to get back from my Aunt's house in Maryland. He's been gone for two weeks and I hate it. The babies miss him and I miss him. He'll be home soon....yipeee!!!! And, I think that Dad's "grandpa" name is going to be BOOMBA. Dad has this thing when he walks around the house futzing he quietly to himself says "boomba, boomba, boomba." Rob and I make so much fun of him so we think the grandchild should call him Boomba. It just fits.

Hope you're all having a fabulous weekend. I have to go because Havick is barking and ringing his bell do go out. Must pay attention to them.

Extra flem (better spelled phlegm) - YUM

Ok, I think only three of you are actually reading my blog so I figured I could touch on the subject of extra flem (phlegm.) YUM! I love it when you constantly feel like you're swallowing a bucket of silly puddy. That's just great!

As you can see from above, my baby is developing it's vocal cords. It goes to show that speaking is a very important part of life. Thank gosh I'm really good at that and I assume that my child will be too.

I'd also like to tell my dear friend Becs that she really needs to stop sending the twin vibe my way. That's just not funny in so many ways.

I LOVE maternity pants

Maternity pants have got to be the greatest thing ever invented. EVER! I really don't see why women don't always wear these pants. Seriously - they are fabulous. So comfortable and yet so stylish. I wore my first pair today and they fit perfectly and no one even knew they were maternity pants. That's the best part about the whole thing.

Now you might be saying to yourself - why would she already be wearing maternity pants? Well, there is a simple answer to that. A) I swear I'm already showing (see previous post with cartoon pic) and B) they are SO comfortable (see paragraph above.)

Just for future predictions - I might never give up my maternity pants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two BEST Friends EVER

First of all, I have to give tribute to my dearest friend Rachel for making me egg salad last night. I was craving (if you really want to call it a craving) egg salad so she came over and made it for me. Remember too that she is 7 months pregnant and in her very uncomfortable stage so it really meant a lot to me. I had it last night for dinner and then again for lunch today. YUMMY!!!! This all happened because my Dad abandoned me and is up at my Aunt and Uncle's dog sitting. Normally he's here to baby me. He'll be back this weekend so we'll be back on track.

My next surprise happened today while I was home sick. I felt like Ferris Bueller (sp) although I was really sick (see previous post.) So around 2 p.m. Havick started barking viciously and I paid no attention. Then I checked the mail around 4 p.m. and there were flowers from my best friend Jessie. Thanks Jes for the fabulous flowers. I love them.

Home Sick

Today is a day where I chose to call in sick. Yup, that's right. I decided this morning that I needed to take a day off to try and kick this cold. I've been fighting a cold since Thursday and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Not to mention the fact that I can't really do my normal routine of Nyquil and Dayquil with a mix of a Spark Energy drink. Can't really have any of that anymore. So I broke down today and found some Tussin (knock off brand of cough medicine.) I hope this will do the final deed and take care of this nasty cold.

Getting sleepy...it's time to go take a nap. I think I might install a cot in my office so I can lay down around 2 p.m. everyday. Wouldn't that be nice? Not sure how much my coworkers would appreciate that. And, my office is so not big enough.

Hope everyone else is having a great Halloween! Brandy's coming over tonight with her three little rugrats to go trick or treating in my neighborhood. Can't wait to see their outfits. Christian is going to be a dinosaur, Zoey is going to be the elephant from Winnie the Poo and Landyn is going to be a little flower. So adorable. I'll post photos tomorrow.

What size am I?

I'm the one on the right and Rachel is on the left! That's what I feel like. I think I'm the only person who thinks I'm showing at this VERY early stage. I swear the pants don't fit the same and the maternity stuff is too big. Thank goodness for the bellybands Rachel gave me. They fit over your waistline so you can unbutton the pants, but still wear them. The bellyband looks like a tanktop showing from beneath your shirt. Whew - I'll be wearing those for awhile.

The start...

It's official - Rob and I are expecting our first child. Yup, that's right...I'm pregnant! Just found out on Tuesday and I'm 5 weeks along today. My goal is to keep this blog running for at least the length of the pregnancy. I can't promise any longer than that or an entry everyday.
