Peyton/Bristol-isms 2011

1.  While at Disneyland, I pointed to the castle and said "Peyton - there is Aurora's castle.  Remember, you met her at Disney World."  Peyton's response "Did she move?"  Yup, totally busted.  I had to explain to Peyton that Princess Aurora has two homes - one on the east coast and one on the west coast.
2.  Buffalo Ham = Bethlehem.  She kept telling me that she was going to sing the Buffalo Ham song at the Christmas pageant.  I couldn't figure out what she was talking about.  Then Rob said "do you mean Bethlehem?"   That's exactly what it was.
3. "Welcome to my world" - we're really not sure where this came from, but her timing on it is perfect.  She typically pulls it out when we are getting on to Bristol about something.
4.  When singing Ariel's song, Peyton would say "honalei" instead of just "awwwww awww awwww" with rising octaves.  

Bristol:
1. "Turn on my moooovie."  She obtained this phrase from Big Sis while in the car.  When their movie stops on the screen, one of them will quickly say this phrase.  Bristol says it with a drawn out moooooovie and very loud.  I'm not sure she actually knows what the individual words mean, but she knows put together it makes a new movie come on!
2.  "That's MINE."  We have mastered the word mine.

Ending 2011

Because we didn't have enough family time or vacation activity the last two weeks, we decided to go to Great Wolf Lodge for one last blow out of 2011.  The girls had a blast.  Lots of fun, lots of swimming, lots of treats, etc.  Great Wolf Lodge really does a good job at catering to the youngsters.  Next time we go back we have to do the Magic Quest with the wands because Peyton is now old enough.  Their favorite pastime was the hot tub.  It was so nice and toast and Peyton could "swim" while still touching the bottom.  Perfect. 

Favorite gift

"Peyton - what's your favorite gift?"  Peyton responds: "MY BOOTS!"  She hasn't taken off her sequined, glittery boots since Santa brought them.  Sure is getting a lot of comments out and about!

Christmas 2011

Santa has arrived!  All of Santa's presents are not wrapped.  Mixture of tradition and laziness!

Peyton woke up first and said "I can't wait to see what Santa brought us!"  She then came flying out to the living room and tore through all her gifts in like 10 minutes.  This was at 8:45 a.m.

Little Sis then arrived at 10:45 a.m. after we made enough noise to wake her.  Peyton did everything she could do assist her in opening gifts. 

Grandma sent antlers for the girls.  They loved all of their gifts.

Bristol put these on immediately and didn't take them off.  She "claimed" the high heels.  Thanks to Gamoo for those fancy shoes.

Here is our rockin' butterfly outfit from Gamoo that we wore all day.  It's so festive!  Not!  She wore the wings and the rose in her hair.  Oh, and let's not forget the high heels.

Peyton immediately put on her Minnie Mouse costume when we started watching the Disney parade on TV.  We had just seen it a few days ago live!

This was the year of baking for Peyton.  She got an Easy Bake oven from the Smith Family and a bunch of other baking items.  Loving my little cook.  It's fun for both of us to get into this at the same time.
