You may be asking yourself "why hasn't Kelly blogged lately?" I've been super busy and for some reason forgot that this blog is meant for text too. I've just been taking the easy way out and putting pictures up. That's not fair to all of you!
What's going on in the Douglas Household:
1. Peyton is now eating crackers and Cheerios. I was totally "that Mom" when I ready my What to Expect the First Year book and it said at 7 months your baby should be eating a cracker. Peyton was not until that evening! I went right out, put her in her high chair and gave her a Gerber pinwheel thing. She loved it. She now eats like 4 of them a day. Maybe not that many. Boy are they messy though.
2. Work is going really well. I'm super busy. We moved into our new offices and Scarlett and I are sharing an office. Our desks are facing each other. It's hilarious. We've decided that we're either going to be really close or hate each other after these next 3 months. So far so good.
3. I'm getting a Blackberry. Pretty stoked about that. I know there are a few negatives to having constant email access, but I think it will give me more flexibility. We shall see. Peyton - when you read this in 20 years a Blackberry is a device that is both email and a phone. I really don't know how to explain it so you can go to your local museum and see what I'm talking about.
4. Rob is doing well. He's a little bored with their current assignment, but he's convinced that the next few months will fly by. Let's hope!
Nothing really exciting. We just live through Peyton's daily achievements. She is so entertaining and a joy to be around. Let's hope #2 is just as laid back.
P.S. Not sure who my official American Idol pick is, but I do like Brooke the Nanny and the young 17 year old boy.
