First Baby Shower

Had my first baby shower today at Cafe Du Mond in New Orleans. My Communications Team surprised me with a very, very nice baby shower this morning. John Picerne, our Founder, even attended. They gave me a TON of stuff. Good thing I bought an extra suitcase the other day.

They are the best - Mary Ann, Amanda, Heather and Beth. Thank you girls for your thoughtfulness!!!! (And, thank you now for the "cover" you'll give me while I'm on maternity leave.)

Having a BLAST in NO

Rob and I are having a great time in New Orleans. We have gone to the majority of the "hot spots" here in NO and have enjoyed all of them. We've eaten at the best restaurants and we've even done a night at Pat O'Brien's..WOOHOO!!! Oh, and bad news - Baby Whatsitsname has already had his first contact high. That's right - we've had our first encounter with pot. There we were sitting at Pat O's when all of the sudden we smelled pot. According to Rob and his extensive pot expertise (none whatsoever) it smelled like "bad" weed. We suddenly realized that it was coming from right in front of us. Rob very patiently tapped on the frat boy's shoulder and simply said "we don't mind the cigarette smoke, but my wife is pregnant and the dope has to go. I strongly suggest you get rid of it before I crush you." They were more than happy to accommodate Rob's request. It was so funny. We left very soon after that - very soon as in immediately.
