As I stated earlier, my amniotic fluid was low on Tuesday so I was scheduled for another ultrasound this morning. Good news - the fluid is back up. I guess chugging all that water really did help! So, now we're back on the "natural" path and will wait and see what the doctor says on Tuesday.
Bristol has gained some more weight. She was 8.5 on Tuesday and was 8.8 today (according the ultrasound that can be off by 1 pound either way.)
Rob will be arriving in Fayetteville on Sunday morning so all is looking good. That will be a relief to have him here. She can come at any point after Sunday morning.
We will keep you posted.

Bristol Update - week 38
Had a Doctor Appointment this morning and things went really well. As you all know, I have been very concerned about the potential of having a c-section. This was definitely not in my birth plan. So today I went in for my 38 week appointment and convinced the Doctor that we needed to do another fetal weight ultrasound to truly make a good, education birth plan.
After about 10 minutes of watching our little Bristol move around, it was determined that she is only 8.5 pounds. WOOHOO!!! I walked out into the hallway and said "Dr. Ponder - she's tiny...only 8.5 pounds." He responded with "that might be tiny for your house!" Obviously, 8.5 is still considered a big baby, but not by my account. Peyton was 9.5 and I had no problem with her delivery.
I do have to go back in on Friday for another ultrasound because my amniotic fluid was low (due to the fact that the technician wasn't able to find any pockets of fluid since Bristol was hogging the area.) Depending on the outcome on Friday, we will make a decision whether I will be induced early next week or let things go naturally. Either way I have told Rob he needs to come this weekend. Hopefully his command is going to let him come home this weekend and then work from the Bragg office next week until I have the baby. This was he won't have to use any of his leave. That would be great! He can also help me with Peyton at night since I'm getting a little slower and she's getting a little faster.
Thanks to everyone for your well wishes. I will keep you posted.
