One day and counting...

Here are two belly shots for you to see my progression. I'll add another one after this weekend since I think I've "popped" a bit more. You can be the judge of that.

The bottum one is at 8 weeks (green pants) and the top one is at 17 weeks (plaid pants.) I'll post my 19 week photo this Monday.

(for those of you who took your own belly shots - does it drive you nuts that I'm doing odd weeks - HA!)

Lots of firsts....

We have our first ultrasound scheduled for this Saturday at 10 a.m. Yup, by Saturday we will know if we're having a Wyatt or a Peyton. For those of you who don't know those are the names we have selected. Peyton could go either way depending on if the Colts win the Super Bowl this Sunday. GO COLTS!!!!!!!

So here's the drama. Had my midwife appointment yesterday for my 16-18 week appointment. I am now 18 weeks at 2 days. The Nipple Nazi was unable to see me so I went with this adorable, friendly, little blonde Army gal who was fabulous. It was SO much more enjoyable to be with her. She was great. I'm so changing my midwife.

She put us in for an ultrasound to be done in the next 2 weeks. Perfect because Rob starts school on the 12th and wouldn't be able during the day. I called this morning and our lovely health system has their first availability for February 28th. There is no way in HELL I am going to wait that long to find out the sex of our baby. So....I called up to Raleigh and we have an appointment this Saturday at 10 a.m. WOOHOO!!!! I will post after we find out the sex.
