Future model?

Peyton had so much fun pretending to be a model while I shopped.  She kept changing her pose. I distinctly remember Nikke and I doing this when we were super young. At multiple stores because we were always in the mall. Always.

Selfies

Shoe selection is questionable???

Pamper day

Girls have been begging for a spa day since they saw me get my nails done so $70 later and two happy happy girls they now have experienced a pedicure and manicure at age 6 & 4.

Looking good

Grandma and Grandpa looking lovely at a dinner dance.

Picture day pigtails!

Change of pace

I needed a little something different so I went dark to everyone's disbelief. Peyton flipped OUT. When I got home she said "you don't belong in this family anymore!!!"  Ouch. My loving child Briatol said she loved it. And, I love it!  My other girlfriend called it deployment dark which is so true! Seems like when Rob goes to Afghanisan I go dark. Ha!

Proof - they do love each other

Busted snuggling in mid-sleep. I now have scientific proof that they do love each other.

Fun at the pumpkin patch

Cone of shame

Tough lesson here - don't chew off your $60 cast the day you get a new one!!!!!!

Third tooth for P gone

She was brushing her teeth this time and yelled "agh!!!!" And I looked over to see her tooth in her hand and a fair amount of blood pooling in her mouth. She pretty much freaked out about that part, but then couldn't wait for what the Toith Fairy would bring.

Chaos

For some reason when we go out to dinner with our BFFs we get a lot of funny looks. Oh, maybe because there's 6 little girls aged 7 and under. That's a lot of squealing.

Knock knock

Who's there? A goat at your back door. Brownie figured out how to climb out of his pen using only his hooves and a tarp. He them came over to butt his reflection in the sliding glass door. Could have been bad, but was actually pretty hilarious.

A nice break

A girl can't complain too much when your company retreat is in Newport, RI and you actually enjoy your coworkers.
The view from our meeting room.
I handed out mustaches to everyone to enjoy. Amanda and I couldn't stop laughing.

Meet Cookie and Brownie

Remember that new attitude?

The first edition to our new chapter in the life of memories is our new goats. Yup, goats. Two if them. To be honest, I'm not sure who was happier - you two or Papa?  We ventured out to Robbie's house (my tax guy, Papa's friend, goat owner) to pick out our new furry friends.
Here's a possibility? Bristol is more interested in posing though.
Peyton's getting the hang of it.
Which do you choose?  They're all so cute.
Ok, we'll take those two.

And just like that

A random phone call can be two things:
1.  Great news from a loved one or
2.  Horrific news that alters your life.

Unfortunately, this call was the latter from my sweet cousin CJ. It started out like a bad joke, but quickly I realized it was real and our family was now facing another atrocious battle with cancer.

My poor Aunt Sue, your Grandma's younger sister, discovered a tumor in her brain above her ear. The doctors removed the tumor to realize that it was cancer and it's aggressive.

We all asked why and why back-to-back with Molli's battle??????  It makes you realize how precious life is and how each day needs to be memorable. Anything from a small gesture to a grand vacation. This latest cancer story has propelled me into a "life is way too short" attitude so buckle up because we're going on a wild ride of memories my friends.

Sue continues to fight and we continue to pray hard.

While Daddy's away....

.....the girls will invade the bed. Yes, they are sound asleep.

To the fair we go

As usual, first stop is the face painter. She should really know us by now.

A kitty cat
A zebra although it looks like a skeleton.
Add a butterfly
No fear Douglas. This was like a human hamster ball on water. B loved it - P refused to do it.
Sai made an appearance with us.
Success!

First math test for P

Perfect score! Future engineer?  Probably not. More like spokesperson or fashion model.

We were flocked

We got flocked by te Herlihy's. So cute. Our school is doing this as a fundraiser and you can send them to others houses so we flocked a few unsuspecting friends too!  It definitely grabbed attention - multiple people stopped to take pictures. The highlight of all the old folks in our hood.

White coat anxiety

This is a picture of fear. Peyton finally was forces to get X-rays of her teeth and BAM 8 cavities. Ugh!  And, she's the kid that only drinks water. Seriously - only water. Anyways, after lots if thought, a second opinion, a favor from a friend directly to the head dentist and a third opinion, it was decided to wait 6 more months to see if the cavity grows any before we proceed with treatment (metal caps.). Good news - we brush our teeth, floss and swish with flouride every night now.
