1. Great news from a loved one or
2. Horrific news that alters your life.
Unfortunately, this call was the latter from my sweet cousin CJ. It started out like a bad joke, but quickly I realized it was real and our family was now facing another atrocious battle with cancer.
My poor Aunt Sue, your Grandma's younger sister, discovered a tumor in her brain above her ear. The doctors removed the tumor to realize that it was cancer and it's aggressive.
We all asked why and why back-to-back with Molli's battle?????? It makes you realize how precious life is and how each day needs to be memorable. Anything from a small gesture to a grand vacation. This latest cancer story has propelled me into a "life is way too short" attitude so buckle up because we're going on a wild ride of memories my friends.
Sue continues to fight and we continue to pray hard.
