It's been an amazing 8 years since I married my best friend. Happy Anniversary Honey! You might be in Nepal, but you're in my heart. (And, this post is one day late.)
I love you and am looking forward to spending the next year together as a family. It's been 8 years, but we've really only been together for 4ish of those. In fact, let's do the math:
Kuwait December 2003 - February 2004 = 3 months
Afghanistan December 2005 - December 2006 = 12 months
Philippines January 2008 - August 2008 = 8 months
Hawaii April 2009 - November 2009 = 8 months
Hawaii July 2010 - April 2011 = 9 months
Total time away = 40 months.....3 1/2 years
