Our first official tree. Notice how it looks a bit Charlie Brown. Rob hated it when he first got it up. Then we "fluffed" it and see how nice it came out (below.)
The tree ready to go for the morning.
Here is the big debate - does Santa wrap his gifts or not? Rob grew up with Santa not wrapping gifts and I grew up with Santa wrapping gifts. So....we compromised. Santa did half and half. I have to say that I think the "unwrap" way is definitely the easy way out because you don't have to wrap. That is real nice on Christmas Eve when you're doing all the last minute wrapping. What does your family do?

I always thought Santa wrapped all gifts, unless they are huge! My coworkers and I were debating it, I think they should be wrapped b/c that's part of the fun. So do you put the tree up on Christmas Eve? Daddy doll is great!!! Merry Christmas!
We are a wrapped family! Looks like it was a great Christmas! Tell Rob to look at our tree (pics on facebook and blog)..it is definitally charlie brown esq. and it is real!!
Love the PJs- lol.
Santa does not wrap his gifts in our house. His appear unwrapped and ready to play with. THe wrapped gifts are from us/other family members/etc and they are out before Christmas. Its a nice differentiation that works for us.
Oh boy, I think P is following in Lexie's footsteps by the signs of her gifts.
Nice wrapping paper too... look at my photo from the girls in the box!
Merry CHristmas to you all!
santa wraps ours in different paper from all the rest - we hide the roll and burn any that's unused. dumb, i know. won't last long, though. gabby's starting to figure the whole thing out.
I am the same as Bec's! Santa leaves things set up and together and ready to play with. When you walk downstairs you can see what he brought and it is like WOW you should see the video of the kids faces when they see what Santa has brought!!! They are so excited!!!
everything is up and ready, can sit down and play a game (which he brings at least one every year) or littlest pet shop, or skate ramps etc... I remember the year Nicolas got a scooter it was all he really wanted... he rode it aroudn the living room while ashley checked out her "goods"! LOL
We wrap only from us and other family members too and those are already out. :) makes for great before Christmas pics, and lots of guessing! LOL :)
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
In our house Santa does both.
Great pics! Love the daddy doll.
Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year, wishing you happiness and health in 2010.
xoxo
