Two sick kids

Poor little Peyton. Well, as if having a toddler and a newborn wasn't enough, we now have a sick toddler and newborn. YAY! Peyton woke up on Sunday morning with a runny nose. It then progressed through the day and became worse that night. In fact, around 6 p.m. I pulled her up on my lap and she barfed all over me. I sat in puke as a comforted her. She then looked over at me and said "Mommy - you're a mess!" It was really funny. Then yesterday she seemed to be doing better. This morning she woke up coughing and wheezing. Along with her baby sister who has yellow snot in her nose. Oh the joy! So we've found the green "sucker" to clear their noses. Peyton refused to use it until she sees Bristol do it and she gives it a quick try. It's funny how she wants to do what her sister does. We'll be using that to our advantage!

Lots of fun with Gamoo last week. She helped out a lot and got the majority of the house picked up. It was a disaster prior to her arrival. I didn't realize how much I didn't do while I was pregnant. I have so much more energy now so hopefully I can keep up the cleanliness. We'll see.

In other news, we're starting the initial phases of potty training. In fact, she's sitting next to me buck naked. This potty training is a necessity since we're going through our naked phase so I figured we might as well take advantage and work on potty training. She's doing pretty good. She's tinkled on the potty multiple times. We're still working on #2. Not really interested in that right now. Baby steps.

Off to tend to a crying newborn who needs her nose sucked!!!
