So Peyton is feeling much better and Bristol seems to be working her way through the cold too. Their snot isn't as frequent as it was yesterday. Gross I know. I'm hoping that they'll wake up tomorrow morning and be a-okay.
We're getting really excited today - Rachel and Lorelai are coming!!!! YIPEEE!!!! Peyton keeps running to the door and saying "Orelai" (we don't really pronounce our Ls very well.) It was cute last night. They were on the phone together and Lorelai yelled "I LOVE YOU PEYTON!" She really emphasizes the T in Peyton. It's so cute. They are already BFFs. It's really going to be funny to see Lorelai, Peyton, Bristol and Baby Huse #2 all together. I'm secretly hoping that Baby Huse #2 is a girl so it keeps the tradition going. A boy would be good too, but he might get harassed by the girls a lot.
Happy 3 week birthday to Bristol. She's been a real doll. Here are some highlights:
- Basically sleeps through the night (I think this is slightly BS when people say this about newborns. No newborn really sleeps through the night.) We go to bed about 11/12, she eats at 3ish and then again at 5/6ish. The nice thing is that I side feed so I barely even wake up. Oh yeah, she's totally sleeping in my bed right next to me.
- She farts like a fraternity brother. It's so loud. Peyton was holding her the other day and Bristol let one rip and Peyton about dropped her she was so shocked. I wish I had the video camera on. We would have won $100k.
- She can hold her head up for a good amount of time. She bobs and weaves when you have her on your shoulder.
- We are going through a "want to be held" phase. It's a bit challenging since Peyton also wants to be cuddled. I typically cuddle with Peyton when Bristol is content, but the last two days she's wanted to be held. It might also have something to do with them both being sick.
- Her hair is still long and light brown. So pretty. I'm finding that I need to bathe her more than I did Peyton because her hair gets greasy so it shows more.

Kelly~ I love the fact that our two girls are only a day apart and reading your description of Bristol matches with leah. I completly understand the whole want to be held thing when your toddler wants to be held at the same time. The girls are so beautiful! you are doing a great job Mommy!

If Huse #2 is a boy, I predict he is outside the house naked by age 6. Its the curse of having older sisters.
The Baby's Daddy.
Just when you have so much going on - everyone gets sick... I hope your getting some rest. So glad to hear your enjoying it, such special time!
We had a ton of fun with y'all. Even though PeyTon probably has bruises around her neck from all the headlocks! Sowwy!!!
Love you guys!
