I Lied

So...Bristol's birthday is not August 5th. There are 2 hours left in the day and we are sitting at home watching So You Think You Can Dance (love it!) Here is how today went:

5:55 a.m. - wake up to alarm so I can call hospital and check bed availability
6 a.m. - back to sleep since there were NO beds (full moon last night)
7 a.m. - phone calls began to wish us luck (ha!)
7:30 a.m. - 2nd phone call to hospital still no beds, but I was given the ok to eat
8 a.m. - the Princess (numero uno) woke up
8 a.m. t0 1 p.m. - hung with with our first born
1 p.m. - 3rd call to hospital and still no beds. I was told that I was on the list and would be called if something opened up. I was also asked if I would come in the middle of the night and I said yes, but wasn't sure if my doctor would be up for it.
1 p.m. to 8 p.m. - a usual day
8 p.m. - called "on-call" doctor to ask what I'm supposed to do. She (not my dr) said to come to the office tomorrow morning as a walk-in and we'll go from there.

So, we now have the rest of tonight to get another good night's rest and we'll update tomorrow. I feel like this is way more drawn out than the anticipation of my first child. Womack was like "eh, it will happen when it happens." Maybe I need to go back to that theory.

If she's born tomorrow she will be exactly 25 months to the day younger than Peyton. They will both share the 6th as their b-day along with their father.

Thanks for all the well wishes - they are much appreciated.

We are currently at the hospital. Pitocin is kicking and contractions are 2-3 min apart. B-day will be Aug 6th!
