Bristol seems to be holding out. Dr said on Tuesday that I was dilated to 2/3 so he thinks we’ll go this week. Dr. asked if I wanted to be induced this week and I said no. I figured I am close enough at this point why rush nature! Next week may be a different story if she hasn’t made her arrival. I figure that if I am still pregnant on August 4th (which is my next appointment) then I will probably see what steps we can take to get things moving a bit.
I think the hardest part is anticipation. You just don't know from moment to moment if she's going to start her arrival process. I show up to work everyday and they're like "seriously!" It's kind of funny.
So, we will keep you posted. My latest fear is that I'm still dilating and don't really know it. Then all of the sudden I'm going to have the urge to push. If I went to 2/3 without any symptoms then what's happening now? I didn't dilate at all with Peyton until my contractions began. It took about 12-14 hours before I was at 4 cm. They say the 2nd baby goes faster - yikes!

So EXCITING!!!! Maybe Bristol is just showing you what will be her temperment. Layed back, easy going, relaxed little angel ;) Keep the updates coming! We're all stalking your site. Esp. me ;)
Let us know anything...
FYI, my 2nd came faster once my water broke and really once I felt like it was time to push (like flew)... however getting to that point about the same.
Can't wait to hear. If you can text bc I don't know how much we'll be checking the computer on vaca!
Hopefully she will come soon enough so that you will be home from the hospital when we are passing by!
Hi Kelly, I read this and thought I should tell you my experience with Annabelle so you could be prepared!
I went 4.5 cm without even knowing it (checked on a Weds), but the midwife had me go home. I felt nothing all week, and then all of a sudden on Sunday night at 7:30 I started having contractions, and I delivered Annabelle around 8:30pm. Lets just say it was a close call to get to Womack and into a room. An hour of labor. So yes, I can attest that the 2nd one does go faster!
Good luck!
Hey you may be lucky! With H baby I was 3 cen. dialated at 36 weeks and I didn't even get contractions till my water broke and I had her 3 hours later. I hope that this labor is a fast one for you.
