This is by far my favorite photo of Peyton. She is obviously her mother's daughter. The tongue curling is new. We're pretty obsessed with it lately. But, seriously how can you not LOVE that face?
Congratulations to MAJOR Robert Douglas! Woohoo! Rob was promoted to Major on Wednesday, January 2, 2008. He totally deserves it. Nothing like being promoted the week you leave for the Philippines. I can't wait to see that first paycheck. It's going to be nice. Although I need to be thinking save...save...save!!! Rob will be gone for 8 months. Fortunately I have my Dad here with me so life isn't so bad.

6 months = everything in mouth

This is my whole family down in Florida. From left to right: Juan, Molli (step-sister), Mike (step-dad), Nick (nephew), Fred (step-brother), Ella (niece), Nikki (step-sister), Mom, me, Peyton and Rob.

This is how much Peyton loved Christmas. It was just too overwhelming. She was all dressed up and decided that sleep was far more important than opening presents.

Bathing beauty! First trip to the beach. She loved the sand on her toes and didn't mind the cold ocean water on them either.

Oh my gosh, I miss you guys!

I love the face Peyton is making. Seriously, I see an 8x10 in her room......right over her changing table!!

And the family picture - I love that Peyton is looking at Ella like "hmmm...is THAT what I'm going to be doing in a few years?"

WE CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!!! Lorelai won't stop talking about it!

Congratulations, Rob!

I love all the Peyton pics. I can just imagine her little personality from them. So cute!
Hang in with Rob gone.
Looks like her first Christmas was certainly something special.
