HAPPY 2 MONTH BIRTHDAY PEYTON!!!!!
Unfortunately, Peyton celebrated her 2 month birthday with a doctor's appointment and shots. Yuck! She was a trooper though. I think I cried more than she did. She whimpered a little with the first shot, cried a little harder with the second one and then screamed bloody murder with the third one. That's when I lost it. LOST IT!!! Total tears streaming down my face. It was funny in hindsight, but not so funny in the moment. She was in so much pain. Poor baby. She was instantly happy once I picked her up and cuddled with her. Then she was able to eat so that always pleases her.
Speaking of eating - she is doing that just fine. She now weighs 13.7 pounds and is 24 3/4 inches long. She's so big! I love it though. The doctor said that she is very alert and strong. She focused on her strength because of her little clavicle bone break. It is all healed now.
That's the latest from Fayetteville. Oh, and, Rob got home last night from the Philippines. He really enjoyed his trip and is excited about the mission. He goes back in January for 7 months.

Oh I guarantee I will cry too at Christian's 2 month check up. Glad to hear you have a healthy happy baby on your hands, but hey, look what great parents she has! She is too cute - I love the boppy picture.
I so wish I could have been there, Kelly! Isn't it just awful when your baby is hurting? But so awesome when you can soothe her. Life as a mom is just beginning - I can't even imagine what we have to look forward to! The first time someone breaks our little girls hearts - they're dead!!!!

The shots are NEVER easy for us Moms, but they get a little better.

She is getting so big and so cute! I love it! And I just love her little nose too! Its awesome!
I know....I HATE taking Kaleigh to the Dr. She had her 12 month on Wed....I'm glad we have 3 more months til another one....she weighed 23.5 pounds....all was well...we had shots too.:(
2 months seriously?! She is growing way too fast! And I remember the shots are no fun... not looking forward to that part. But other than that, looks like you all are doing great! Mindy
