I had my final moment of nesting today = we cleaned out one side of the garage and my Sequoia now fits. Woohoo!!! I said my goal was to be able to park in the garage when Peyton and I got home from the hospital. And, that is going to happen. It's perfect. We do need to move a few things so I can open the back door and get Peyton's car seat out of the back. Other than that it's been two years since we've moved in and I have never parked in the garage. I suspect that Dad will park in the garage as well when he has Peyton with him all day. It's just easier if it's raining or anything like that.
That's the big news for today. I can now officially say that at 39 weeks I cleaned out my garage. We even took two loads to Goodwill.
Rachel is convinced I'm having Braxton Hicks contractions but I don't feel anything. My stomach gets tight, but it has done that all along. No pain no feelings.
And, I'm craving Oreos. Rachel just went up to Food Lion to get my some. YUM! She is so excited that I'm having cravings because she didn't have any. O-R-E-O-S!!! It's all their new commercials I'm sure.
My Mom and Step-Dad get back from Europe tomorrow afternoon so it looks like their planning worked and they didn't miss Peyton's birth. That is of course unless she comes tonight - highly unlikely.
I'll try to update as much as possible. Work is going to be busy this week trying to get things finalized before I'm out on maternity leave. Scarlett has a lot of stuff on her plate :)

Just got your myspace comment. I have been keeping up with your blog...sounds like you are ready to deliver! I am very excited for you and Rob. I will be anxious to see baby pics.

MMMM Oreos, I found a new favorite at the work vending machine, vanilla oreos, they are delicious! My neighbor at 38 weeks wanted the baby out so she plowed her yard for a garden, it didn't work. Peyton will come when she's ready!
Can we request a few pictures of the parents to be? SOOOOO close :) Hang in there! And yes, it does sound like you are having BH contractions :)
Honestly, I didn't think I was having contractions until the doctor told me. I expected them to hurt much more...
And everyone is right that it sounds like you are having Braxton Hicks contractions.
One more belly shot please!
Happy Nesting! How long is your maternity leave?
Two years??? LOL I do not think I could have waited that long!
Ahhhh a pool..I envy you. Other than the base lap pool (and they actually expected you to SWIM laps!) I had a 6" kiddie pool sitting on my balcony while I ate freezies to keep cool LOL
With all the nesting done the waiting must be driving you crazy :) At least will keep you busy till the last minute (cutting it close, eh?)
hugs!
Lori
