Seriously - did you know that there is a new Food Pyramid? I know you probably know, but have you looked at it? Probably not. So...here it is:
You are most likely asking yourself - why is Kelly telling us about the Food Pyramid? Well, that's an easy answer - I had my fat appointment today. (Translation = met with the nutritionist.) She told me everything I know and don't do. But, she did tell me that I'm doing a good job and I seem to be on track with this pregnancy. I wanted to get it in writing so I could show the Nipple Nazi (you know him as CPT Blunt aka CPT Johnston.) I have even lost .3 pounds. May not seem like much to you, but that might save me a 20 minute lecture. The bad part is that Rob and I are spending a week in New Orleans right before my appointment. I'll probably gain some weight. (Why New Orleans when I can't drink? I have a work conference so we're tagging on a vacation.)
Starting to show a bit. The pants that are not maternity and have fit so far don't really fit anymore. They were a little tight today. Probably will not fit the next time I try to put them on.
OH BIG NEWS - Rob did his first pregnancy duty. He went to Motherhood on his own and bought me two sports bras. He gets major points for that.
Also wanted to let you know that I can not wait until College Bowl Season is OVER.

2) I saw the Nipple Nazi today while Dad and I had Lorelai at her appointment. I told Dad, "that's the guy who called Kelly fat." He responds with "Did she tell him he's ugly and that fat can be fixed?" I about rolled out of my chair. Yeah, he's not the most attractive, that's for sure. :-)
Unless you sent Rob with specific details as to type and sizes, I am picturing him talking to a salesperson holding his hands to say "Their about this big... no bigger than apples... grapefruit maybe... hmmm...."
Paul would have passed out if I had sent him into a store to do that.

Oh my gosh, Becs - great visual. However, I'm guessing he would have used watermelons as his guide??

I can only speculate but I am sure watermelons are a more accurate size depiction. (Kelly- I can only imagine the fun I would have had stuffing things into the bras you will be wearing now!!!!)
(Rachel, you seem to be doing well having just had a baby so keep up the good work!)
Ditto on bowl games. I haven't seen normal TV in what feels like months!!! Except...I can't wait for Monday night...GO GATORS!
I hate your midwife. I am sad you have to put up with him for 9 whle months! Maybe he'll gorow on you? Either that or you'll whip him into shape!!! No pregnant person needs to hear they are fat...ugh!
I love that Rob went and got your sportsbras...do they sell them in size G????
