Skinny Minnie

Peyton had her doctor appointment today for her 18 month check up. She is officially long and lean. She only weighs 24 pounds (lost one pound since last check up) and is 34 inches tall. She's in the 50th percentile in weight and off the charts in height. Too funny! It makes me laugh that she's so tiny. Watch our next kid be a big rolly polly. I told the Dr. that hopefully Peyton's biggest problem will be that she's tall and thin.

No real update on the baby. I don't have my next appointment until February 24th. We are going to try and do a 3-D ultrasound on February 20th when Rob's parents are visiting. I know it seems a bit crazy that we're going to pay to find out the sex and not wait until our normal ultrasound, but Rob deploys the last week of February so we want him to be part of the sex reveal!

I had a few questions before about Rob's "deployment." He is "deploying" to Hawaii. Yup - probably staying in Waikiki when he gets there. He'll leave in February and come back for the birth of baby #2 and then go back. Things will be tough this time around because I won't have his extra help, but I know a lot of women who have done this so I'm sure I'll get through just fine (insert "whew...so glad my Dad lives with us!)

I hope the baby cooperates for the ultrasound before Rob goes to Hawaii!

Peyton is supermodel build!

If your next one is a roly poly, I hope he or she gets that way AFTER the birth :)

Any guesses on what the baby is? I don't feel one way or another yet. Maybe a belly shot would help me decide.

So......when are we going to vacay in Hawaii? I mean, I know you're having a baby and all, but we could do something before HE gets here???

Hawaii??? Rooouuuuugh!

You had better be doing a visit or two while he is there! LOL Too bad you could not take the time off and have the baby there - 'recooperating' on the beach would be sooooo hard :-)
