We left on Friday and headed to Rivereagle (my Aunt's house). On Saturday night we went to DC for the AUSA conference and left Peyton with the fam. Sunday Rob ran the Army 10 miler and I cheered at the Hooah tent. Then I had my conference until Thursday. Rob went and picked Lil' P up on Tuesday night and brought her back Wednesday. We left Thursday morning for West Point. Rob had his 10 year reunion and we stayed at our friend's house the Sciolettis. We then left Sunday morning went back to Rivereagle and then came home Monday. Whew!
Here are some shots from the weekend:
Rob giving Peyton a tour of West Point. She was very clingy this weekend so here she is reaching toward me. Behind him is the main campus area.
Brady Scioletti taught Peyton how to eat an apple. She loves eating them. The only problem is that she chokes on the skin and she only takes a few bites and then tosses the apple.
Hockey Time - Bring It!!
Mommy Time!!!
This is pretty much how we felt after the whole week. Peyton was cuddled up against her Daddy. This is the best time to snuggle with her. She's so cute.
Milestones for Peyton:
1. When you ask her "what's a duck say?" she responds with "quack." It's so funny. She also responds to "What's a dog say?" She says "woof. woof."
2. She is running everywhere. Run Forest Run!
3. She weighs 24 poundsish.
4. She is wearing 18 month clothes (just stretching out her 12 month ones.)
5. Loves putting stuff into her grocery cart. Then shoving it around the house.
6. Words we say:
- GreySee = Gracie
- GanPAA = Grandpa
- HIIIYA = her greeting of hello
- DiDa = Daddy

Thats quite whirlwind. I am tired reading about it. Looks like you had a nice time mixing work and play.
Having recently gone through old photos, I can see where Peyton may have gotten her chugging enthusiasm from... I fear for when she and Lane get together in the late adolescent years.
I'm really loving her hair these days :)
oops, i meant to add that if you wanted to see a preggo pic to check out my 10 year reunion post (under the most recent one)... theres 1 or 2 at the bottom. i have gotten big!
I was beginning to wonder where you've been! I do so miss visiting you when you were in DC...the colors in the fall are amazing there. Peyton is growing by the second and just adorable as ever. I recall a certain someone putting in quite the effort when it came to chugging also...? hmmmmm...wonder where she gets it???
OMG I love the update! First off, you look great Kel! Secondly what fabulous pics! Peyton is getting so big, and her update made me smile so big...she will soon say momma! :-)
I have so many comments to make....but all I can remember at the moment (because I'm tired from reading your exhausting schedule) is that I love Brady's rolls. I didn't see a single picture of Sydney. Felicia looks great. No pics of the Sciolettis? You look terrific. Seriously, Peyton's HAIR!!! I'm jealous. Lorelai has really tapered off with the growing the last few months...only weighs 33 pounds, as of today, so.....she better watch out - Peyton's on her heels.
Glad you all had fun. Sad we couldn't make it.
Love you, mean it.
Miss you. oh yeah....I can't believe Peyton is saying so much and you haven't told me.
Great photos. She has the cutest outfits - way to go fashion mom! Wow, I can only imagine how exhausted you were - traveling with a little one does take it out of ya.
Wow! what a trip! We are going to West Point for a wedding in May..know any good babysitters???
Don't let Kelly fool you. Peyton is already saying Momma. She follows here around all the time. I could here her saying Momma before I even got back from the deployment.
Great pictures! Oh my gosh reading that blog entry made me tired just thinking about your non-stop trip! Seriously, I just went to get another cup of coffee here at work(yes I drink coffee now)! Well, I hope you all get rested for your trip down here to South Florida!!! Can't wait to see you guys!
Love,
Nikki
Just reading your blog and saw that you were in D.C. for the 10-Miler. Mara, Ken, Jeremy, and I ran together. Wish we would have known and Rob could have joined us! Take Care!
