Growth Spurt

Peyton is definitely going through a major growth spurt even though her 12 month shorts are falling off her bottom. She now sits in her highchair for at least an hour at every sitting and eats and eats and eats. For breakfast yesterday she had a banana, waffle, raisins, cantaloupe, slice of turkey, slice of Canadian bacon, puffs, Cheerios, yogurt melts and6 ounces of milk. This all took about an hour and a half. For dinner last night she had more than that.

So basically now she eats and sleeps the majority of the day. There's not much playing going on because her waking hours are spent in her highchair. She is still taking her two 2-hour naps a day. Sometimes they're longer. So hopefully she'll put on some weight and the doc can lay off the fact that she's so small.

Rob will be home on August 11th around 1 p.m. We are very excited. I have the cutest patriotic outfit for little miss. She'll look the part. I asked Rob what she wanted me to put her in and he said just make sure she looks like a girl. Like she ever has the opportunity to not look like a girl. All of her clothes are pink!

We also think we're a big girl now and like to sit on the couch next to Mommy. She gets up there and then just laughs. It's so funny.

She had her first rug burn experience earlier this week. She is now running everywhere and she took off in my bedroom and tripped. So she bounced across the floor with her nose and forehead. She had a nice red rug burn on both of them. I felt like I had to explain it to everyone when we were out in public.

Today will be a busy day. We're getting ready for Rob to come home. We have to cram our whole to do list into this weekend and next. These are things that we were going to get accomplished over the last 8 months. Not so much. We'll be busy. Guess I better go so I can get this house somewhat organized. HA!!!! I need to really hire someone to come in and organize my life.

Happy 31st Birthday to my step-sister Nikki! Hope you have a good one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay! Not too much longer!
I love hearing the Peyton update. She seems like so much fun.
I can't wait to hear her new stats too, although you probably have a few months before the next dr. visit.
I just want to know if in all your house organizing if you know where the quilt my mom made you is? he he. (She still hasn't finished my brother's. Clearly I am her favorite child.)
