Daddy's Home!!!!!

A Day in the Typical Life of an Army Family:
1. Get an email that your hubby is expected to arrive at 6:10 a.m., but if you do the math from when they left Hawaii to how long it takes to get to NC then he should be here at 5 a.m.
2. Make the decision to go with the 6 a.m. arrival because you don't want to get up at 4 a.m.
3. At 5:45 a.m. you are on your way to Green Ramp and you call a friend who is already there. She informs you that they are delayed until 10:45 a.m. because of fog.
4. You go to Waffle House to deal with your emotions.
5. Get home around 6:45 a.m. and put your little one back down to bed.
6. Hubby calls at 7:45 a.m. from VA and says they are boarding the plane to NC.
7. FRG leader calls and says they will arrive at Green Ramp at 8:45 a.m.
8. You quickly get back out of bed and out of your comfy PJs to go wake your daughter up AGAIN and throw her in her car seat with her cute PJs on.
9. You hustle down to Green Ramp with 10 minutes to spare. Those 10 minutes are used to make your daughter look like a military poster child.

Then Rob got off the plane and Peyton immediately went to him. She grabbed on to his neck so tight. She wouldn't let go. It was like she was finally at peace and knew she had her Daddy home. She just snuggled there for about 5 minutes (which is an eternity in toddler years.)

So the family is back together again after a long 8 months. This was Rob's 3rd deployment and I'm sure we have many more in our future.

YAY!!!!!! Those pictures are adorable.

You forgot to add:
10:45 - go back to the office to blog while hubby checks in weapons, because otherwise, you'd just end up at the commissary eating snickers waiting for the next few hours to pass.

WELCOME HOME ROB!!!

Nice hair cut, Kel. Can't wait to see the back!

Oh my god I'm bawling. That might have something to do with being 8.5months pregnant but I think it was more about the pictures. I want to go to WAffle House to deal with my emotions!!!! Love you all! Ahava and co.
