5 days

In 5 days Peyton will be a whole year old. A whole year! Really has a year gone by? It's so sad. I love the stage she's in, but it's so sad how quickly it's gone by and it's so scary to think that we are going to start the process again in potentially one month. Yup Rob gets home in 6 weeks. WOOHOO! We are very excited. Peyton had a chance to show Rob her Princess couch tonight. We were able to do our Skype thing and she proceeded to show her Daddy how she folds and unfolds her couch and sits on it and stands on it and moves it around and climbs over and so on. Rob got a kick out of it. And, she now says "DA" (pronounced like the first part of Dad.) She has only said it when Rob is on the phone or on the computer.

So I also wanted to tell my loyal fans (LOL) that I probably will not be posting on Peyton's actual birthday. We will be traveling to Missouri to visit family and see Rachel and Lorelai. We can not wait to see everyone. It's going to be a ton of fun. Peyton is going to come back SO spoiled. She'll have me for 8 days straight and all the attention of everyone else. Monday, July 14th is going to be really tough.

I hope you all have an amazing 4th of July. Celebrate and remember what the holiday is actually for. Please pray for all of our troops who are deployed and away from their families. Hopefully they won't see any fireworks!

Thats a quick year! It must melt Rob's heart to be able to hear that... and see her do her thing. Have a fun, safe trip!

Wow, baby #2 huh? That's exciting! Joelle is now 6 months old and I'm already wanting a second, so I totally understand where you're coming from. Can't wait to hear how Rob's homecoming goes.
