1. My Mother, Step-Sister and Aunt arrive tomorrow night. Don't tell anyone, but it's a surprise that my Aunt is coming. That's my Mom's sister. I sure hope my Mom doesn't read my blog tomorrow. I doubt she will. She's a bit challenged when it comes to technology. I'm really excited to see them. My Step-Sister Nikki and my Aunt Sue have never been to F'ville before. Not sure what we'll do besides stare at Peyton all day :) Last time my Mom saw Peyton she was 1 day old. Boy has she changed since then!
2. Busy busy time at work. I am planning an NPR interview for tomorrow. Should be good. We're going to tour housing and then I will escort the reporter to an interview with a general. Yup, I'm bigtime (but only for tomorrow.)
3. I am attending my CA FRG meeting tomorrow night. I know that I vowed not to get involved again, but I just couldn't resist!
4. I just realized that this blog will make NO SENSE to my non-military friends. Sorry.
5. Our dear friend Dan Herlihy returned from Iraq last night. His wife Michelle reads the blog and comments so you've seen her here before. They are now famous too because they made the front page on their local paper. It was an adorable picture of Michelle, Dan and Micayla saying hi for the first time in 12 months (minus R&R.) Welcome back Dan!!!
6. Why is the world so politically correct? Seriously - why?
7. Peyton is still adorable. She is much more alert and active. And, she's expanding her vocabulary. She likes to be heard and be the center of attention - ALREADY!!!!

1) I can't wait to hear how your mom freaks out when Sue arrives. You BETTER take advantage of them being there and go get a pedicure or something. Not that I think your toes need it. Because I haven't seen them in four months. I'm just saying.
2) You've always been big time.
3) TOLD YA SO, TOLD YA SO!!! Next post you'll be telling us how you're heading up some committee because "nobody else would do it."
4) you're so right. And because, for ONCE, it does make sense to me, I'm commenting.
5) YAY! Dan is home! I'm so happy for Michelle. And, because I don't think I have her email, I'm screaming for her here. :-)
6) Why do you say this?
7) Is there supposed to be a picture here? Because it didn't show up? And of COURSE she's still adorable...and of COURSE she wants to be the center of attention. Are you surprised?
Rachel is right, you have always been big time! Obviosly wondering about the PC comment... and clueless about the military reference one.
"she likes to be heard and be the center of attention" hmmm, wonder who she might get that from? And she is incredibly adorable, fat girl laugh and all!
Yeah I was going to ask about the military things...is your interview going to be on the radio or their website, I'd love to hear you! Def take advantage of the extra hands around!
Christine
Yay! I got a shout out!!!! Woo hoo!!! So lucky! Thanks Kel!
I'm not as organized as Rachel so I can't number mine, plus I have a huge test in the morning and Dan thinks I'm in the office studying away, not checking everybody's blogs ;) Too funny about the FRG :) You should laugh at this one.... I had all of Dan's spouses convinced that I was just "a spouse" for 2 1/2 mths before they figured out "my military past".... :) They're stuck... They already like me :)
Yes, we're famous. Micayla was quite the camera magnet the other night. We've been on the news every day, it's kind of fun, but I think Dan is getting tired of me saying "honey, there you are, marching the soldiers again!!!" :) (He led the formation of 250+ soldiers across the main post parade field during the ceremony) Proud wife :)
I don't get #6 either.
And as for #7.... You sound shocked..... But I don't think any of us are ;)
Pictures please!!!
Rachel, I'll email you in a few minutes with my address again.
