So I had the long anticipated doctor's appointment today and NOTHING. He didn't even check me so I have no clue how far along I am or if I'm even far along at all. He was very short and sweet because he was on his way to a c-section. He also wouldn't guestimate how big (or small) Peyton actually is. He said "well, let's all take a guess and one of us is bound to be close to it." Ha - not funny guy. At least he was a doctor and not a midwife so you would think he gave a potentially more "intelligent" visit than a midwife. I don't feel that confident in that.
My next appointment is not until June 29th at 3:15 p.m. Yup - June 29th....2 days before my due date. So I will know nothing until June 29th. Let me take that back - I will know something if I happen to go into labor before that day. Not really feeling any contractions. I have a few crampy feelings in the lower abdomen, but that's it. Her heartbeat was 158 today so she's doing just fine. She's moving around a lot and it seems like she's trying to straighten out. Rob says she has her hands in the air going "no, I'm not really ready to leave yet."
That's the news on this front. Sorry that there's no real good scoop. I'll keep posting so everyone will know the latest and greatest.

What a dissapointing visit. At least if there was no news to report, you would have at least liked him to check that to see! Oh well, at least she is doing well and so are you.
Remember: You made it through Jan Allen's Preseason on the soccer field, you can make it through labor no problem :)
The good news is that the 29th is only 8 days away. You are sooooooooo close!!! Praying for you guys!
wait a minute - there IS good news! I can't believe you didn't mention your new houseguests! :-(
I am anxiously awaiting the email from Rachel! Congrats Kelly and please sugar coat the labor experience for me the next time I talk to you! Ha.
Hang in there Kel! She will be here soon. What's important is that both you and Peyton are doing great- I can't wait to be an Aunt again! Actually, I am going to be an Aunt for the first time because I am Tia Nikki to Nick and Ella (the spanish aunt, even though they speak spanish better than their Tia). Or maybe you are going to teach Peyton Korean like what her daddy knows then maybe I will be XKIOA Nikki or something like that...LOL! Either way I am so excited!!!

Ok so I'm a daily reader and rarely comment.. BUT this entry was in need of a comment!! Completely in my opinion, what an A**!! You are due in a few days. How did he not check to give you an idea if your body is starting?? Or for that matter help get it started. Not to post too much info, but a lot of times they (strip your membranes) help get you on your way. Geez... I'm sorry. I swear I'm going to invent something, lol, that we can use ourselves to tell how far we are dialated!! It will save us the trips to ER!! :) ~ Amy
