Peyton's Debut

Above is the first shot we did of Miss THANG! She had her feet and her hands covering her face. I kept telling her that I know how proud she is of her large extremities, but we really wanted to see her cute little face. I must admit that it does lead to a good story though.

Then there was an encouraging sign - she moved her feet and smiled. Rob said it was more of a smirk since she knew she was in charge. I had to agree with him at that point. She was totally playing around with us. The technician was pushing on my belly so hard and trying to get Peyton to move. She'd move alright, but refused to drop the hand.

This is the best shot we got. It's still missing her one eye, but boy is that hand cute :) I think her nose looks big, but Rob said that her hand is probably pushing it toward the camera. We shall see. To me it looks like my Mom's father's nose. I am now really anxious to see what it will look like when she's born.

Oh, and she was breech. Butt down and head up. Her head was on my left and her bottom was hanging out down below. She was totally chillin'.

After the sonogram we went to the Melting Pot and it was GOOD!!!!!!!!!! I could seriously just eat the appetizer (cheese) and the dessert (chocolate and peanut butter.) That's my kick now. Chocolate and peanut butter together in whatever form. I honestly prefer it in an ice cream form right now. YUM!! I might have to go downstairs and get some.......
