- JD made a good comment for me to change the names of my links to Lorelai's name instead of Dipstick so I took care of that.
- Went shopping yesterday up in Raleigh - bought some cute maternity clothes on sale. We also ate at Cheesecake Factory...YUM!!!!
- We leave for New Orleans on Friday. Just found out that the Bears won today so that means the Saints will not be playing it home. That kind of sucks, but on the other hand it would be crazier than usual so no thanks. We will be doing Pat OBrien's on Friday night. I guess I'll be drinking Hawaiian punch.
- I'm supposed to feel kicks starting this week (that's baby kicks.) I probably won't because if you're "overweight" then you won't feel them for some time. HA! That just makes me laugh. I'll keep you posted on the kicks.
- I'm not really showing yet. I think I am, but everyone else says that I'm not really. I keep getting the response "you don't even look pregnant." Oh really...so my boobs have always been this gigantic and my hips were always this wide????? It's not really a compliment (future reference for those of you who comment on pregnant woman.) It's a compliment if you were a size 2 and now you are a size 4. Either way you still feel fat and you're just counting down the days until your belly does show so you can prove you're not just putting on weight :)
- We'll find out the sex of the baby in about 3-5 weeks depending on when we get in for the sonogram. That will be very exciting. Everyone is convinced it's a boy. I think it's a boy too, but who knows. Every time I picture the baby in my head it's a boy. We'll see.......
- Well, had a lazy day today. I need the cleaning fairy to come hang all my clothes and put away all our Christmas gifts. I just have no desire to do it. Fortunately, the bedroom door can remain shut when visitors come over.
- Oh, one more thing, my dear friend Ann Marie bought Baby Whatsitsname an adorable onesie that says "Product of R&R." LOL!!! I'll take a pic and put it on here. For those who need a translation...R&R is the term used for Rob's two weeks of leave he took in September when we got pregnant. The baby will be sportin' the onesie.
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their 2007 thus far.

Kel-
LOVE THE ONESIE IDEA
Take lots of belly pics! (You can compare them to the piercing one once I find it- he he. I certainly don't want to compare mine now.)
Glad for the update! I was checking and getting a little impatient...
Hey, you could find out you are having twins in your sonogram in 3-5 weeks too!
I just knew that the twin thing would come up again. There is no way I have twins in my belly. I think I would be a lot bigger at this point if I did. No twins - it's going to be one healthy little boy. That's my prediction. When it's a baby girl I'll never tell her we predicted she would be a boy :)
Kel
I'll tell her, though! :-) I have no inkling as to what you have in the oven - none at all. I was right with Lorelai, but I have NO CLUE about you.
I hate you that you're not showing very much. However, I do think you're showing, but then again, I don't see you everyday. I showed at conception. And you KNOW I'm not kidding!
How long are you going to be in N.O? I didn't even realize you guys were going there.
I couldn't just let the twin thing die down without one last comment, but I no longer think it is twins. I think you SHOULD have a little girl for payback, though.
I went back and forth with Lexie until the week of the ultrasound and then I just knew it was a girl (not that I really knew). Paul thought it was a girl all along...
After she was born, I even doubted that maybe she wasn't a girl after all. I said some compliment about her and then was like "Wait- she's a girl, right?" Apparently it was funny, but I was dead serious and didn't find it all that funny after 2 1/2 hours of pushing out an 8 1/2 pound child.
Just felt the need to share bc I forgot about that until just now. Need to go write it down... along with Paul asking if my cervix would fall out after it ripened...
Tzophia just turned 4! Remember that? You thought a baby was 10 years away....
I hope you get a healthy adorable boy or girl- just know you will love and worship him or her no matter what!!!
K.. if you think it's a boy, you feel a boy, it's a boy! also.. I am so happy for you!!! PS if you feel you are showing, you are! others may not see it but you do, this is what matters!I am glad all is going well for you, My hubby Bill and I are gonna try to adopt a new one soon. I hope that when your baby gets here, mine will too!
Hi Kelly,
I stumbled across your baby blog via Bec's blog! I love it. It sounds like things are progressing well, any kicks yet? I would fire my woman hating lactose specialist man-wife (who did he anger to get that job?!!) You now have one more faithful reader. We are in the middle of moving again and I am counting the days until I am out of an apt!! We need to get together once we're settled down.
Christine
Crack -
We do need to get together soon. Let us know when you're settled and ready for visitors :) Or, you are always more than welcome to come down to F'ville. We'd love to have you.
