Check the ticker on the top of my blog. It's actually moved one notch over. We're moving along. I've put some information below on what the baby is doing and what my body is going through.
Fetal Development:
I'm Swimming! The baby has begun moving inside the womb although it's too small for mom to notice. Most of the joints are formed now - elbow, wrist, knee, shoulder, and ankle as well as the hands, fingers, feet and toes.
Maternal Changes:
The morning sickness may start to ease a bit. This week, we'll blame moodiness and a blotchy complexion on those wild hormones. Have heart ~ this is only temporary.
Your blood volume will increase 40%-50% during pregnancy. As a result, you may start to notice your veins more, particularly in your tummy, breasts, and legs.
Rob gets home 2 and 1/2 weeks!!!! Very exciting!!!! He will hopefully be home before our next appointment which is on December 15th. That's where we'll get to hear the heartbeat hopefully. How fun will that be??? It will be Rob's first introduction to his baby. I'm thinking it will make things really real. That's when I can start using the baby to my advantage :) I'm thinking foot massages and special cravings :)
Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving holiday. It was great having four days off of work. I didn't do much. Shocking! I do have a lot to do today - cleaning and ironing. It's true what they say about not wanting to do anything because you just don't have the energy. This is very, very true. I have piles of clothes all over my room. Mainly because most things don't fit and the things that do need to be ironed. Yes, I might give in and take all the ironing to the local dry cleaner to have them pressed. It sure would be a lot easier :) LAZY!!!!
Take care

unfortunately, I never got my energy back to do housework. I will forever blame that on the baby. However, I guess that doesn't really explain the last 28 years! :-)
Glad you're feeling well and almost out of morning-sickness territory!!! Yippee for good pregnancies!!!
17 to 19 days. Wahoo! Hmm. I guess it is the status quo. I whine about being deployed and you want doting for the baby:p
what? your dad doesn't do your ironing?!!!?!
you may never want to do housework again because your child just turns into a toddler and continuously dirties what you clean... should i email a picture of our kitchen floor?
Have a safe trip home, Rob!
