VEGAS BABY VEGAS

Here is that blog post that I promised everyone! Things in Vegas are going well. I think that I've officially walked over 50 miles in the last three days. Mom, Mike and I did EVERY hotel and every friggin' tourist attraction possible. I seriously was dragging the last day. It's fun when you can blame your exhaustion on the baby. Mom and Mike were going store to store and I was searching for the next comfy bench. Oh the joy of sitting and people watching. It was fantastic.

We went and saw three shows. They were amazing. We saw 'O' at the Bellagio, 'Jubilee' at Bally's and 'Le Reve' at The Wynn. All of them were awesome. I must say that I giggled like a school girl at Jubilee because it was the traditional Vegas show with topless showgirls and all. That being said...about three songs into the show (when I was just getting comfortable with showgirls running around stage with their tatas barely bouncing) out came the men in leather thongs. I almost spit my water out on the 70 year old lady sitting in front of me. Yes, I was the youngest person there by far. Some of the guys even had saggy butts. Agh the horror! Some looked great, but you know they were flaming so it was hard to enjoy the view. I know I'm totally knocking on this show, but it was very entertaining and I'm glad that I saw a traditional Vegas showgirl show! The memories will last a lifetime.

Baby Whatsitsname was a champ this weekend. Mom was very excited that "her baby is having a baby." She does feel a little old though. I think that BW is going to be a party child. And, I think that s/he will be able to go with the flow. There were no hiccups in the plan due to pregnancy delays so that's always good.

Well, I'm at my 2nd hotel now in Vegas so I can start the work portion of this trip. It's very, very nice and I plan on laying down for a nap now. And, yes, I will blame that on the pregnancy too :)

I can't wait to hear more about the hotel.

You are cracking me up about the Vegas showgirls...glad you got the experience. Don't think I could have held my lunch through that one.

You dod not tell me about the flaming thongs. All the sudden the topless girls sound much less appealing.

I am glad you had fun babe.
